911 ATTACKS; THE BACKGROUND
This September will see the 25th anniversary of the 911 attacks during which three prominent buildings in the US were destroyed apparently after planes were taken over by Muslim suicide hijackers in a surprise attack.
Doubts expressed about various aspects of the official story were suppressed by the western media but In the intervening years the questions have only gained weight.
The third building to collapse WTC 7 fell symmetrically at almost free fall speed even though it was not hit by a plane. The most thorough investigation, at the University of Alaska to date has found that there must have been another major factor in its collapse.
Meanwhile the paper trail based on insider leaks confirms that several of the alleged muslim hijackers were known and shielded from arrest by the CIA.
The official investigation was starved of resources and Commissioners said they were set up to fail.
Reinvestigate911 continues to demand an independent properly resourced inquiry if not in the US then somewhere else.
UK Citizen Matt Cambell who lost his brother in the attacks is fighting a high level legal campaign currently before the UK Supreme Court demanding a proper inquest.
REINVESTIGATE 911
Reinvestigate 911 was launched in the months following 9/11 when it was clear that, far from any rational response the right wing in the West saw 9/11 as an opportunity to boost support for wars of aggression already planned against a series of countries in the Middle East.
This project has culminated in the Gaza Genocide and the war of aggression against Iran,
RI911 has benefited from a small minority of mainstream media people prepared to risk their careers, and the message that the official 911 story may not be true has spread a long way over the years through radio interviews on UK stations like Talksport and US websites and Ian Henshall's best seller 911: The New Evidence
