The month-long Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty Review Conference (NPT RevCon) at the United Nations ended last Friday in failure. The U.S. chose to shield Israel from the demand for a Middle East WMD-Free Zone conference at the expense of the U.S. stated objective of strengthening and extending the nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation measures of the NPT. Tell President Obama it is unacceptable to sacrifice our security and national interest just to shield Israel’s nuclear weapons monopoly in the Middle East.
