The first phase of our petition drive has been fully funded, allowing us to submit our first petition containing over 67,000 signatures on July 3rd. Now we must gather an additional 33,000 signatures for submission on September 4th to ensure that the High-Rise Safety Initiative is placed on the November 4th ballot. Please help us reach our final fundraising goal of $250,000 by July 20th.

The High-Rise Safety Initiative needs to gather over 100,000 signatures from New York City voters between May 1 and August 31, an effort that will cost $250,000.85% of your donation will go toward petitioners’ wages and other petitioning costs including printing, office space and transportation. 10% will go toward legal services related to preparing the petition for submission. 5% will go toward the campaign’s administrative costs.
